About Nel
Nel holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications and a Master's in Secondary Education, along with certifications to teach various subjects including middle school science, high school business, industrial and emerging technologies, and family and consumer science. With eight years of teaching experience across grades 6 to 12, she has developed a diverse skill set that enhances her educational approach. Recognizing the importance of creating cutting edge curricula, she proactively pursued an instructional design certificate in anticipation of the forthcoming Bible curriculum project. This commitment to professional development reflects her dedication to providing a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for her students.
Curriculum Developer
Nel has developed a comprehensive scope and sequence for eight different classes, showcasing her expertise in curriculum design. Her collaborative efforts with a dedicated team led to the creation of a specialized construction curriculum tailored for a community college. This curriculum is aimed at equipping students with essential skills and knowledge in the construction field, ensuring that they are well-prepared for various roles within the industry. Nel's commitment to educational excellence shines through in her work, as she strives to create engaging and effective learning experiences for all students. About Ray
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and currently serves as a professor of Construction Technology at Central Arizona College. With a solid foundation in technology and education, he brings a unique perspective to his role. Prior to his current position, David gained valuable experience teaching grades 6-12 at a private Christian school, where he developed his skills in engaging students and fostering a supportive learning environment. His diverse background in both information systems and education allows him to bridge the gap between technology and practical applications in student learning, ensuring that his students are well-prepared for the challenges of the industry. David's dedication to teaching and his commitment to student success make him a valuable asset to the college and the broader educational community.
Professor of Construction Technology
Ray collaborated closely with his supervisor to develop a comprehensive curriculum tailored for his construction technology students.
